Cheyenne

Joined our program in March 2008. Cheyenne was diagnosed with Diffuse Pontine Glioma (tumor on brain stem) at the age of three. Although the doctors gave her only one year to live, Cheyenne’s fighting spirit and loving family helped her to persevere for six more years! Cheyenne spent much of her time raising money for her hospital or to buy toys for other children being treated for cancer. Cheyenne earned her wings on March 16, 2009 and is greatly missed by her loving mom and siblings. They are carrying on Cheyenne’s hard work with the Forever9Foundation, a nonprofit organization set up to help support the parents and siblings of a child who has died from cancer.
