Caleb S

Joined our program in June 2008. Caleb was diagnosed with a DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) on April 3, 2008 at the age of 10 years old. Caleb was a sweet, caring boy who demonstrated incredible athletic prowess. Baseball became his sport of choice, although he played basketball and football to fill in the time between baseball seasons. He was a loving brother to Jacob, Luke and Seth and the much loved son of Kim and Ken. Caleb was a true OSU Cowboys fan as well as a lifelong Texas Rangers fan. His plan was to play baseball for the Rangers when he grew up, and thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, he became a Ranger for the day in September 2008. Caleb fought his brain tumor with everything he had until he earned his wings on July 21, 2009. His family and friends alike miss him greatly.
